Oh to be a kid again......

Well here I go....my first blog on blogger.com.  I've never tried it before so bear with me.....


Oh to be a kid again...life was so simple and easy at least when we look back it was.  Back then our puppy getting lost or it raining so we can't go the park was the end of the world.  I would love to wake up and see the rain and go oh darn....no work today.  But that doesn't happen my first thought is yuck.....my 45 minute trek into work has now turned into a 4 hour trek.

Kids get over things in 2 seconds.  I was watching my daughter the other day.  She was made at our dog, Precious.  Precious ate a couple of her new toys for her sand box.  At first it was the end of the world for her and not two seconds later (no one said a word or promised her a new toy) she was great and Precious was her buddy again.

Adults don't take 2 seconds.  A guy cuts you off on the freeway and you gripe the whole way to work....may even talk about it at work.  Don't forget you probably honked at the guy or even gave him the bird...either way that person isn't your buddy.

Kids may be a little sneaky but not like adults....they may sneak a piece of candy or try to sneak a teacher's note past you.  Adults write the book......I guess it has to start somewhere but can it just remain the little stuff that we are sneaky about.

We always say kids need to learn from us...maybe we need to learn from them.
